Ever wanted to get your kids on TV or in print? It is hard to figure out what is scam and what isn’t without knowing the industry. We’ve got the experts for you to ask all your hard hitting questions.

Along with these great experts, we wanted to let you know about a great contest that is going on right now! Raggs.com is searching for 100 real kids to star in an episode of one of their shows! To enter, all you have to do is make a video of your kids acting like themselves and upload it to their secure site. The Raggs Rockin’ Kids Search runs from June 1 – June 30, 2009. Winners will be selected based on a 1-2 minute video of your child answering suggested questions or showcasing their creative play ideas. For official rules and entry details, visit www.Raggs.tv.     Well, it seems that they were in Langhorne , Pa this past week end so I missed it, That is the closest that they are coming to Pittsburgh. But this is the first I ever even heard of RAGS, so actually, I just learned about the whole thing just now. I am excited. I love wholesome programs for my 3 yr. old and 1 yr. old to watch.

    And I am following all parties now on twitter. I guess my question is: How do you know you’re kid is (or isn’t) “t.v friendly”? Like, for example, if your child is hyper, as my 4 and 2.4 can be, is it correct to automatically write them off?

    Second question: when is it a good age to think about your kids in show biz?

    Never thought I would be one to enter my kid in acting. But having a child with such animated expressions I think she would do well. I am excited to give the contest a shot. I think more shows should have “open contests” like this. Gives everyone a chance to be found.
